Tokyo + 1 sur Max Ernst) comme de passer du Polnareff en guise d’intermède pendant ses lives, il jongle sans complexe entre le groove sensuel de la house, l’hypnotisme de la deep techno, parsemant le tout d’effluves expérimentales. Thomas Brinkmann est une référence incontournable et discrète de la techno minimale allemande. Très proléfique en terme de création expérimentale - plusieurs albums ont vu le jour au début des années 80 - il lui a fallu attendre la deuxième moitié des années 90 pour rencontrer le succès avec des remixes de sons produits par des artistes tels que Mike InK et Richie Hawtin.
Ces créations ont été obtenues à partir de vinyls modifiés en jouant sur des platines customisées (bras de lecture additionnel).
Brinkman lança le label Ernst et ses propres productions sur des 12" qui avaient pour titre des prénoms féminins et créa les projets "soul center"et plus récemment TBA avec Tusia Beridze.
Il a depuis étendu son vaste catalogue dans son propre label Max Ernst (TBA, Post Industrial Boys), ainsi que dans de prestigieuses maisons telles Traum Schallplatten, Raster-Noton et Mute Records.

“Life Energy awareness and enhancement
through techno music dancing meditation”
